Valuation Visionary 2019
Paul Chandler, CEO of Property Sciences has been voted the Valuation Visionary for 2019. The Valuation Visionary Award, established by the Collateral Risk Network (CRN) in 2011, nominates the person who exemplifies integrity, dedication, and exemplary service to the collateral valuation profession.
The 2019 Valuation Visionary Award will be presented in Chicago at Valuation Expo 2019 on March 19th. When told of the award, Paul stated “I want to thank the collateral risk community for this great honor. This means more to me than any of you can imagine. I’m heartened to realize my, often times, impassioned remarks are not completely falling on deaf ears. This recognition is another example of the great support that I have been given. I look forward to seeing everyone at Valuation Expo in Chicago.”
Paul is widely recognized as an advocate for appraisers and has a fierce passion for the industry. With over 30 years in the valuation community, Paul has shown what it means to be a true leader. Paul has a large range of experience from valuation, appraisal, lender-platform technology development, to online and print media which have all allowed him to bring a positive and encouraging outlook into the industry. Crispin Bennett, the Chief Operating Officer of the Collateral Risk Network states, “Paul is one of those people who doesn’t chase after success, he pursues a better valuation industry. The CRN is a group of valuation experts focused on resolving the many challenges facing our profession. Lending institutions, Wall Street, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Veterans Affairs, the Federal Housing Administration, Appraisal Managements Companies, regulators, and appraisers are represented in the CRN. Through our quarterly meetings and private email network, the thought leaders within the appraisal profession act as counsel to each other, share experiences, and assist each other in solving mutual problems.
